WELCOME TO ÇANAKKALE

 

Hola! Esta vez hemos tenido la oportunidad de escribir sobre un tema libre, por lo que voy a describir Çanakkale, el lugar donde Raquel y yo estuvimos la semana pasada.

Çanakkale es una ciudad y puerto situado en el sudeste asiático, en la costa de Dardanelos. La población estimada en 2010 de la ciudad es de 106,116 habitantes.

La provincia de Çanakkale, al igual que la provincia de Estambul, tiene territorio en Europa y en Asia. También tiene un puerto muy popular donde puedes ir a la parte europea cruzando el estrecho vía ferry en sólo 10 minutos.

Es la ciudad que más cerca está de la antigua ciudad de Troya, que es un lugar arqueológico, famoso alrededor del mundo por la mitológica guerra escrita por Homero en su llamado libro ‘La Ilíada’. El caballo de Troya construido para la película Troya en 2004 se encuentra en el paseo marítimo de la ciudad. 

Como ya he dicho antes, Çanakkale es la segunda ciudad situada entre dos continentes, después de Estambul. También fue una fortaleza otomana llamada Kale-I Sultaniye.

La ciudad tiene numerosos lugares de ocio a lo largo del paseo marítimo, como teatros, restaurantes, hoteles, pubs y cantidad de cafeterías. 

Sobre la población turca, tengo que decir que pueden describirse como personas humildes, cariñosas, amables y cercanas. Siempre intentaban hacer todo lo posible por satisfacernos, incluso si tenían que sacrificarse para ello. Personalmente pienso que los españoles y los turcos somos muy parecidos, ya que tenemos comportamientos similares y ambos somos amistosos y considerados.

Para concluir, debo decir que fue increíble haber estado allí y es una lástima haber pasado sólo una semana, porque en tan sólo unos días hemos creado entre todos una gran familia de diferentes nacionalidades, lo que resulta impresionante. Me gustaría volver a Çanakkale alguna vez y ver a todos los amigos que hemos hecho allí, ya que ha sido una experiencia increíble e inolvidable para todos.

Hi!  This time we have the chance to talk about a free theme, so I am going to describe Çanakkale, the place where Raquel and me were during last week.

   Çanakkale is a town and seaport situated on the southern Asian coast of the Dardanelles. The population of the town is 106,116 (2010 estimate).

Çanakkale Province, as Istanbul Province, has territory in both Europe and Asia. It has a popular harbour where ferries cross here to the northern (European) side of the strait in only 10 minutes. 

The city is the nearest major town to the site of the ancient Troy, where is an archaeological place and it is very famous around the world for its mythological war written by Homero in a book called Ilíada. The “wooden horse” from the 2004 movie Troy is exhibited on the seafront.

It is the second city situated on two continents after Istanbul. It also was an Ottoman fortress called Kale-I Sultaniye.

It has got plenty of leisure places above its sea front, such as theatres, restaurants, hotels, pubs and lots of cafés.

  

Talking about Turkish people, I have to say that they can be described as humble, kind, caring       and closed people. They always tried to do their    best for satisfying us, even if they had to sacrify themselves for it. I think that Spanish and Turkish people are really similar in many aspects, such as we have got same behaviours and we are both friendly and thoughtful.

In conclusion, I have to say that it was perfect to stay in this place and it was a pity to stay there only a week because in a few days we have created a big family with people of different sects and that is amazing. I wish I could return there one day and see the friends we have made them because it has been an incredible and unforgettable experience.

IROMOKIKIH

Hikikomori es una palabra de origen japonés que significa "confinamiento" en español. Es una enfermedad padecida entre adolescentes, generalmente varones, y consiste en aislarse de la sociedad y vivir permanentemente en su habitación utilizando ordenadores, videojuegos y todo aquello que les aporte acceso a Internet. Estos pacientes sólo se relacionan virtualmente con otras personas que padezcan esta misma enfermedad.

Hikikomori is a japanese word which means "confinement" in Spanish. It is an uncommon disease, and people who suffer from this disease are  boys teenagers. It consists on get isolated of the society and live in their bedroom using computer games, portables and all the things twhere you can surf on Internet. These people only have contacts and relationships between other hikikomori by Internet.



En mi opinión, tengo que decir que no me considero hikikomori porque me encanta socializar con los demás y conocer gente nueva.

In my opinion, I have to say that I am not considered as a hikikomori girl because I love meeting new people and relating to them.

Japón es el país con más hikikomoris. Por un lado, esto se debe a que Japón es un país muy avanzado en cuanto a tecnología se refiere y por tanto utilizan más el Internet. Por otro lado, también se debe a que los hijos acostumbran a vivir en casa de los padres muchos años antes de emanciparse. Es probable que la presión social pueda influir en las personas que padecen esta enfermedad.

Japan is the country with the biggest number of hikikomoris living there. In one hand, it is produces because Japan is an advanced technology country and japanese tend to use the Internet frequently. In the other hand, it could have been produced because sons live at home with their parents many years before they leave hometown. I guess it can also be produceb by social pression.

Los efectos que tiene esta enfermedad es que los pacientes, al vivir continuamente conectados a Internet aislados de la sociedad, toman los juegos de las consolas como la realidad.

The effects of being a hikikomori is that they take the games they play as the reality because of their isolation and their continue lifes using videogames and Internet.

Objective criticism

LETS TALK ABOUT INTEGRATING PROJECT

Hay que tener en cuenta que, aunque tengamos una hora a la semana de Proyecto Integrado, va a valer exactamente lo mismo que el resto de asignaturas. Por tanto, hay que dedicarle el tiempo necesario para conseguir una buena nota. Para ello, yo daría la libertad a los alumnos de publicar un número indefinido de posts sobre lo que ellos quieran, y al final de cada trimestre evaluaría y pondría más nota a aquellos que hayan trabajado más el blog, hayan publicado mayor número de posts y hayan tratado temas interesantes.

Although the Integrating Subject is teached only one hour at week it has the same value as the rest of the subjects. So we have to dedicate time enough to get a good mark. To improve this subject and the marks, I would let students to publish all the posts they want about exotic themes during each term. At the end of each term, I would improve students' marks according to how many posts they have published and the most interesting themes they have worked.




En el futuro, yo usaré este blog, pero llevaré a cabo temas distintos sobre mundos idealizados, ya que me gusta escribir historias. Es probable que me cree otro blog, y si lo hiciera, sería, como ya he dicho, para narrar historias.

I think I will use that blog in the near future, but I will treat themes about idealized worlds because I like writing stories.


Lo mejor de blogger es que puedes publicar y compartir información con otras personas y ver los distintos puntos de vista que tiene el resto de la gente sobre distintos tópicos.

The best thing of blogger is that you can publish and share information with other people and know their differents sights of view about an ample variety of themes.

Lo peor de blogger es que necesitas Internet para utilizarlo, y a veces éste no funciona correctamente y pierdes tiempo.

The worst thing of blogger is that you need the Internet for using it, and sometimes it doesn't work and you lose time.
